Bitcoin BTC $26,057 remained determinedly against the pattern on Aug. 22 as $26,000 turned into a magnet for intraday BTC cost activity.
"Death chop" in the BTC price is back
Information from Cointelegraph Markets Star and TradingView followed a third day of sideways execution for BTC/USD.
In spite of being vigorously oversold, as per relative strength file (RSI) readings, Bitcoin wouldn't offer any type of recuperation bob from levels last seen two months earlier.
Market members were anxious, with well-known broker Jelle alluding to intraday developments as the “death chop.”
"At this stage, it seems like a risky game to see who will take action to break the cleave," hinted at asset Material Markers said.
Dissecting liquidity on the Binance BTC/USD request book, Material Pointers noticed a wide absence of liquidity, expanding the potential for a sharp move in one or the other course. " The market is standing by to check whether more bid or more ask liquidity will be drawn to the reach," that hint made sense on X (previously known as Twitter).

In a committed YouTube update on Aug. 22, Michaël van de Poppe, pioneer, and President of exchanging firm Eight, noticed the vigorously oversold signals being created by RSI.
On 12-hour time periods, the RSI estimated under 19 at the hour of composing — close to its least levels since the 2018 bear market base. Everyday levels were comparable, coming to their most reduced since the Walk 2020 Coronavirus cross-market slump.
"Each time we see such a move, you get a kind of Angular shape recuperation back up, and it tracks down harmony on a higher floor," Van de Poppe said about past BTC cost streak crashes.
He added that it was "probable" that Bitcoin could arrange a rebound to zero in on $26,500 or more next. Retention and gradually grind higher here for some time - - and I could see this play out in basically the same manner."
Added, "So far, we are seeing small amounts of bid liquidity ladder up from $20k closer to the active trading zone, but no liquidity of any size (new or moved) has been stacked into the range defending price from a Lower Low.” The ramifications were regardless possibly intense for bulls, with a lower low (LL) able to gamble even the $20,000 support going ahead. Obviously, printing a LL in this TF has full-scale suggestions. Printing 2 LLs would push #BTC down to sub $20k levels, and Material Pointers finished up.
